Yoga for Stress & Anxiety : 4-Week Series

Over the course of 4 weeks, students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of mind & body practices that will help reduce the symptoms associated with anxiety and stress. Anxiety, stress and depression are a part of many of our daily lives. It is rare we get an opportunity to stop, breathe and be present. By slowing down, you allow yourself to check in and become mindful, reawakening the awareness within you. Throughout these 4 weeks, RYT Camille will guide students through restorative classes that have a balance of movement and rest which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing students to feel relaxed. Each week Camille will provide students with the tools, such as breathing and journaling, to manage anxiety and stress, leading to a more peaceful and happy life. Join Camille on the mat with your worries, leave feeling blissfully more like yourself.

Camille Alonso has been practicing yoga for 11 years. She began practicing yoga daily while in high school when she was dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. Not only did yoga and meditation allow her to feel like herself again, but it inspired her to teach others how yoga can improve their lives. She earned her 200 hour RYT at Indigo Yoga in Caldwell, New Jersey as well as her Restorative Yoga certification. Camille believes yoga is accessible to everyone because it brings peace, clarity, and mindfulness into the world, which is something everyone can benefit from. You can expect Camille’s classes to be relaxing, rejuvenating, and an opportunity to reconnect with yourself.
