Mini Yogi Flow [featuring Kidding Around Yoga]
Every Kidding Around Yoga class offers a complete, age-appropriate Yoga practice including breathing instruction, relaxation techniques, stretching and strengthening poses, all using fun-filled music, games, and imagination. KAY’s secret is playfulness, keeping your child motivated, excited, and moving. This is not your typical Yoga class. A KAY class gets children singing, dancing, skipping, marching, jogging, shaking, laughing, hopping, limbo-ing, and storytelling ALL while practicing Yoga to original KAY music. Your kids will love this class!
Jen has been an Early Childhood Educator for almost 12 years, and spends most of my days playing, learning and growing with young children! In her free time, she has found the ancient practice of Yoga helps keep her grounded and present.
In the Summer of 2017, Jen furthered her practice and received her teacher training with the Kidding Around Yoga program so that she can introduce the wonderful practice of yoga to her students as well.
Kimberly has been an elementary school teacher for 15 years. Her days are filled with singing, playing, learning and growing! Kimberly became certified as a KAY Instructor in April 2019. Already she has seen the impact that it has had on her young students! Kimberly is beyond excited to be teaching yoga and to be spreading the joy of this ancient practice outside of the walls of her classroom!
Mini Yogis Summer Camp 2019
We are so excited to bringing one week Summer Camps to Iris Mind + Body this Summer. Both weeks will meet every day from 10:30-12:30. Kids will enjoy yoga, games, and crafts. Mommy [or other Adult] + Me Yoga [2 and Up]
4-Week Series: Mondays 10-10:45am with Kim [July 8-July 29]
This program is meant to strengthen the bond between parent and child. We use interactive yoga poses perfect for our Mini Yogis AND their parents. This is the perfect opportunity to get your body moving and stretching while also giving your child a chance to learn yoga.
Mommy [or other Adult] + Me Yoga [Non-Walkers]
This program is meant to strengthen the bond between parent and child. We use interactive yoga poses perfect for non-walking babies. This is the perfect opportunity to meet other parents, allow your baby to start to meet "friends", and give both parents and baby a chance to stretch a move. Check back for updates.
Come together in a lighthearted environment for family yoga fun! Enjoy some bonding time with your kids and/or partner while we laugh and flow through a 60-minute yoga class. This is a great way to let the family "play" together and introduce your kids to yoga. Family Yoga coming in 2019.
